have you checked out Bear Republic in downtown Healdsberg? not at good as RRB but still holds their own.

Bear Republic is one of my favorites. The Racer 5 is my go to beer. I usually have a 12 pack of that in the fridge at all times. And I love the town of Healdsburg.

I'm not sure what I'm brining back yet. It'll be a gametime decision. I do have Damnation coming next month though.

I got married a couple years ago at Arista Winery, we served Bear Republic as well in the pre ceremony tasting.

Ate at Zazu for dinner and cleaned them out of Damnation!


I love the Jim Brown Tribute Ale and their stout. Red rocket is pretty good too!!!

the crappy foreground is actually salumi from Bovolo - inside Copperstone Bookstore - some of the best cured meats around! Get some of their Black Pig Bacon!!!

for some ungodly reason i picked up this Chili Beer as a novelty at Central Market a while back.

it literally tastes like miller lite + pickled jalapeno juice dumped into it. I poured that sh*t out.

jetch - i'm going to try and brew a jalapeno beer at some point. i'm just trying to figure out what i want to use as the base. i only want a hint of jalapeno, so its probably going to take some trial and error. that crap you posted above looks awful.

I have two bottles left of a now well-aged El Chupacabra Caliente homebrew that's essentially a Corona ale with ghost chiles. I'd say it's a sippin' beer as you can taste it all the way down. It was an experiment and don't think will be repeated.
