Hub, don't really actually know a ton about them and have only heard them mentioned here a few times. Don't know if they're realitively new? I'd be looking at getting whatever they're known for as long as it's not a stout.
Also I have depleted my sculpin stock that I had brought with me here to Colorado from California so I'll be stocking back up on that as I come back through Texas.

Sorry, I only know of the bar scene down there. All my stores are further north.

Meant to add another one to my list, Craft and Growler. They have a huge selection to do growler fills from.

Ended up spending my lunch break at "Lonestar Beverages" and walked away pretty impressed. Sadly, they had sold out of both your breakfast stout and pumpkinator earlier in the week. That being said, I ended up walking away with:

- Southern Tier Pumpking
- Southern Tier Warlock
- Alaskan Pumpkin Porter
- Lakewood Goatman
- Sam Adams Tetravis

How'd I do? I really had a hankering for some pumpkin beer.

Don't be too jealous.. it's not like russian river beers are stacked a dozen deep on liquor store shelves around here. Any place that gets them in, they are gone quick. I have only run across a pliny and a temptation in the last ~4 months. Before that it had been a while since I've seen any RR on the shelf around me in south denver.

Yup that's a Boulevard BBQ, they also had a Love Child that I might have to go back and get. As was mentioned, when the RRBC stuff comes in it goes quite quickly. I've been able to forge somewhat of a friendship with the owner of a local liquor store and he knows what I like. He always holds on to a bottle of stuff he thinks I would like for me. I make it in there about once a week.

I was able to taste a pretty good home brew last night, my buddy's Consecration clone in which oak chips from original Consecration barrels we're used during aging. It was spot on, and he got 5 gallons at a fraction of the cost of RRBC's retail price.

RRBC had sold some barrels to some home brew shops in the area and my buddy was able to grab a kit.

Edit: he got them from these guys about a year ago. Their site shows them as being sold out and he says they've been sold out awhile as he wanted more and couldn't get it.

Tasted the Crooked Stave Origins Grand Cru aged in Leopold Bros whiskey barrels. Very nice, very smooth. Whiskey wasn't overpowering at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the bottle share today. The Crooked Stave reserve brews from NCA(raspberry and cherry) were superb! Too bad the game ending SUCKED.
