Very jealous. MBC is my favorite brewery experience. Best combo of overall feel, hard to get beers, and solid food options.

I enjoyed the experience, but they only had five beers on tap (three IPAs, one double, one cream ale), and the only good was a handful of pizzas or salads. The pizza was good, but not sure I'd rank it over the OG RRBC in Santa Rosa or Jester King since the brewery took over the barn kitchen.

Met up with some family here. I wouldn't have chosen it, but it was a pretty good experience. The barrel aged imperial stout wasn't amazing, but also wasn't bad.

First world problem - I had to hang out and drink beer at a brewery that isn't as cool as a brewery I would have picked.

Recommendation please!

Down from South Dakota and will spend a couple nights in the Houston/Galleria area starting Tuesday

Hit up Spindletap today but any other recommendations on places to hit up? Tap rooms? Breweries? Liquor stores with the best selection?

We did Saint Arnold's a couple years back. It wasn't amazing, but it was fun and I like what they produce.

Damn Lt. Joe, this beer is great. Great sour from Oregon. Fir is used to give it a nice savory character. They do it right and don't overpower the beer with it though. Awesome stuff.

True Anomaly is a place I'd try to visit. It is downtown though, and not by the galleria.

Equal Parts and True Anomaly near downtown are good ones. Ingenious out towards Bush airport always has some interesting stuff. B52 is our favorite place but it's 45 minutes to an hour from downtown. Galveston Island Brewing is a good spot with outdoor seating, I've also heard good things about Devil and the Deep near the strand.
