Victory beers just arrived. Thanks chipotlemonger, really appreciate it buddy!
Really good. Celebrating Clemson game & keeping another kid alive for a year.
Started with Houston haze, might be moving to vodka soon.
Had my 1st Houston Haze at like 9am. Switched to bourbon at half time
I started with a Cab at 11, SN Octo during the game, then bourbon during LSU-tu. Not sure what day it is now.
It's Frursday
Was having proper pre-show beverages on Friday at [my brother's] home. We get into town to eat dinner before the show, and look who I run into.
My effort of researching and finding a top notch foodie and craft beer joint was totally validated!
Also, we were a few minutes late arriving to the Anchor brewing tour earlier that day. I snapped a few pics, and then the tour guide said at some point 'remember everyone, photography is not allowed'.. Doh! Yeh I missed that disclaimer.
I was able to get their tuns and their coolship room.

Dang, I missed this one. I'm a bit out of touch with my hometown and I've not been to the new brewery (Nueces Brewing Co), but Lorelei Brewing is easliy the best in the Coastal Bend.Kyle98 said:

Got zwanze day tickets, this will be the first year I attend in ~5 yrs and the first one on the mainland.
Beer recommendations in Barcelona and Madrid?

Oakspire New Belgium colab with Knob Creek
Saw these at the grocery store and was pleasantly surprised so I thought i'd give it a whirl. Very underwhelmed overall, I guess I could've read the packaging a little better but I was expecting a Bourbon Barrel Aged beer and its really an ale with bourbon essence to it. seemed a little lacking in all categories. but to each their own. as it is i would not purchase a 6 pack of them at all.
(at 15 bucks a sixer, I was happy to find them in the mix your own 6 for $10)

So I was working on a project and at lunch one of the guys doing some programming mentioned his daughter and son-in-law started a brewery in San Marcos. He said it was a farmhouse called Rough House. He also built a PLC controller to help control the chilled water to regulate temp on the fermenters. I told him I had been following that brewery and wanted to visit. He also mentioned that his son-in-law worked at Jester King and Blue Owl. He dropped off some beers at the end of this project. Super excited to try them.
Nice. I helped them out with some engineering work and got them a permit to build the brewery. It's a beautiful site so definitely go visit if you can. Great farmhouse beers as well.
Been wanting to go check them out, and Middleton since they are so close.
Middleton was a fun visit when we went a few years ago.
It's been a crazy day, so it's stout weather.

Clown Shoe stouts are pretty much always worth seeking out. I think they're incredibly underrated because of their wide distribution.
Agreed. Never been disappointed with any of their BA beers.

Agreed. I think Crasher in the Rye is a top tier stout.
Did 2013, 2015, and 2017 BCBS tonight. I think the 2015 was the best, but really hard to differentiate.
