Didn't catch anything but had a couple of bites. Honestly, first time targeting them, I wasn't expecting much. So weird fishing in fast moving water compared to the lakes and rivers back in Texas.
Had a great time on the river though. Talked to a few guides who didn't catch much either.

Had time to hike to a water fall that was only 20 mins from our house. Pretty awesome.

So, a guy I play hockey with used is a sales rep for ABInbev (works with Kona now). He gave me these last night.

2x 2015 BCBBW, 2x 2015 BCBS, 1x 2017 BCBS, and the 4 pack of BCBS is 2013.

Booked a hotel in Bend for this weekend. Anyone have any recs for new breweries? It's been several years since I was there.

Our hotel is right next to Crux, so we will be hitting it up for sure.

Bend Ale Trail - You can walk to a ton of breweries and have a great time. That's what we did the last time we went. Probably hit 8 breweries walking maybe 3 miles.

Yup. My brother did this when he got back from his deployment. He said a lot of the time it was just you and the owners hanging out at some of the smaller breweries. Apparently... it's great for collecting stickers too if you're in to that sort of thing. I have like 15 Bend brewery stickers now.

Not right on the coast but right off of 101, firestone's Barrelworks in buellton is pretty good if you're driving that way

Oktoberfests are starting to drop. I don't know about y'all but this kicks off my favorite time for beer. Now through the end of the year most of my hands down favorites are getting released.

In Grand Cayman this week. Had three local brews.

White Tip lager (in the can above). Pretty good. Rates like your normal grocery store beer from your local brewery.

Ironshore Bock. Currently drinking one in the room while my kids are asleep. A slight step above that.

Caybrew. Reminds me of beers that I drank in school when we couldn't afford Bud Light.

I'm pretty basic with my fall/winter likes. My go to Oktoberfest is Odell. Love that beer. Drinking a Coop Oktoberfest now and it's pretty solid. If you like pumpkin beers I generally like Smashed Pumpkin and Wick for Brains. I also just do build your own six packs of a lot of the fall and winter seasonals. Especially with Oktoberfests, pumpkins, and Christmas beers.

I had it on tap a few weeks ago in SA. It is good but I like Prairie bombs better. That being said, I have 3 bottles of it in the fridge.
