With Jetch as our inspiration, we decided to hit the shore this weekend.



Left the balcony door open to hear the waves last night and woke up at 5am due to the blinding sunrise. I think I got a sunburn while sleeping.

I also got into craft beer with DFH back when 90 minute was talked about as the best beer in the country. I'm glad I went, but it wasn't amazing. It is pretty big and has a very corporate feel to it. If you've been to Green Flash in San Diego, that seemed like the best comparison. Also, Delaware is a pretty strange place.

Funny story about that. I was going through a list of the states I've not visited. I've been up that way several times but I realized that I'd completely forgotten about the state of Delaware all these years.

This is a couple days late and I don't have a pic, but I had a Bramble On (blackberry sour) at Brazos Valley Brewing on Saturday that was fantastic. (coming from someone that doesn't like sours). I really hope they can it because yesterday was the last day of their current tap room and the new one won't open until September.

Spent some time today at Grayton brewing and Idyll Hounds brewing near Seagrove Beach, FL. Both did gose/sours well with Idyll a bit better across the board.

I think ABW distributes to only the Austin area and not to Houston.

I have a buddy in CS that absolutely loves it. They don't deliver to my zip, so I've not tried it out. But I do get their emails and I want just about every release they have. They've got some really good stuff.

I've gotten two Tavour crates. Been pretty pleased with it, but it can be a dangerous and expensive app to keep around.

Anyone get some of this chunky Real Ale Skullberry?

It tastes great and pours real clear until the end. I think they have some work to do on this style.
