Summer trip this year includes a drive from SA to Seaside, Florida with a couple nights in New Orleans. Have identified a few breweries along the way, but wondering if anybody knows of any can't miss beer spots near the I-10 corridor to possibly load up on regional offerings to bring back home.

Headed to Newport Rhode Island next week for work, I have never been to that part of the country before. Will have a car but probably not a ton of time to go searching. Anything I should keep an eye out for? Does any treehouse or trillium stuff make it down that way?

My favorite places to grab a beer and food:
ChurchKey - Large tap selection with appetizers
Pizza Paradisio - Several locations to choose from.
The Sovereign - Belgian food and crazy good bottle list
Rasika - Worth a reservation if you like Indian, not much beer though.

Made the drive from Houston to 30A for spring break. Didn't stop at any breweries along the way as we were east bound and down, but I did enjoy Idyll Hounds down by Rosemary Beach. Grayton Beach Brewing's brewery is in the same business park.

Doing this trip as well in May. I'm mainly interested in a good bottle shop along the way to stop and load up some good beach beers.

Those are the best places.

I'd only add that TallBoys in Shaw has had Maine Lunch on tap since they opened a few weeks ago.

Bruery has a bottle shop next to Union Station. Lots of good bottles, plus they sell Offshoot IPA cans, plus some occasional Lost Abbey bottles.

I also have some Cable Car and Veritas that are ready to be shared.

1. Does anyone know if the Side Project Cellar in St Louis is kid friendly during early hours?
2. Is anyone ever going to drink all these Rare Barrel beers I bought but never drank????

1. When I was at Side Project a few years ago we got there somewhere around noon and I wouldn't describe it as kid friendly. It was pretty hoity toity. A little too much for our tastes really. The beer was good but the crowd was pretentious. We enjoyed Perennial a lot more. That was 3 years ago though but best I can do.

Been to side project a few times and never saw kids when I was there. Pretty sure they dont serve any food so not sure what kids could do while there.
