Hung out at RedHorn a little bit last night. Really enjoyed 8.5.88, as well as this one...
Glad y'all are enjoying this year's! Three Legged Lab sales really dragged with the mild winter, so inventory of that pushed back Here Comes the Sun, and therefore also Hop Delusion. We're working on ways to start making it available more than one time a year-- and maybe even some variants!

The hope is in the future (after this year), Hop Delusion distribution won't be forced to wait on any other seasonals. It's still a super expensive beer to make (~120 IBUs + DH), but it's going to get made more often than it currently is.

I was on Karbachs website last night for the first time in forever and noticed that Barnburner isn't on there. Did you drop it from your rotation? I wasn't really a fan, just noticed it wasn't on there anymore.
We haven't made it for a few years. Zee German Pils replaced the seasonal slot Barn Burner used to occupy. We last sold it just before I started, but I recall hearing it was the lowest-selling seasonal we had at the time.
Also happy to say we're ditching Krunkin Pumpkin this year (and probably for good). I know the brewers hate making it, the sales team hates selling it (after 10/31 have fun getting rid of any excess pumpkin beer inventory), and the market won't miss another pumpkin ale on the shelves.
And wouldn't you rather just have another fresh batch of Hop Delusion to carry through to November, anyway?

Yes 12oz and delicious. They sell for around $60ish secondary to give you an idea of what they go for. Shouldn't be that hard to trade for.
