$2/oz! Jesus. I'm out. I'll stick to a $15 consecration or supplication. I saw a cascade on tap that was $10 for 5oz.. but that's with restaurant markup. Cascade does have a $43 750ml.. bourbonic plague.. but I didn't have to wait in line for it

At the grocery store yesterday, I grabbed a FW Agrestic from the grocery store liquor store before doing a little grocery shopping. When I was checking out within the actual grocery store the checker had to get a manager to ring up the beer. When it rang up the manager said "$14 for a single beer? That can't be right." So she overrode it and rang it up as a single beer for $1.99. Felt a little guilty but slept alright last night.
TLDR: got an agrestic for 2 bucks yesterday.

Jeez, talk about being out of touch for a grocery store manager. Has she no idea the cost range of the goods in her store? Not have meetings with her buyers about the trend in beer? I'd expect this 5+ years ago.. not today.

So tomorrow you going in to do a make your own 6 pack of agrestic? :P

Worth checking out. Not sure they deserve all the hype but have some solid offerings. Just released another batch of their Juice series as well as a Peach Juice.

This is fricking amazing. The best gose in Texas, Salty Lady, aged in cab barrels with passion fruit. I was skeptical at $10 for 2 cans, but now I need more.

I'm in Houston, but i picked it up while in Austin yesterday. Pretty sure there is still some around here.

Also went to JK yesterday, and the new Spon fruits were fantastic and showed that while the prices are understandably a deal-breaker for some, they keep improving and manage to meet my expectations for what I paid. Also, the Final Entropy and especially Saison Americaine brews were great as well.
