Anyone see that AB Inbev bought a (minority) stake in RateBeer? Seems odd. I don't really use RateBeer anyways, though.

I saw a post on FB about it and Sam Caligione (sp?) requested that they remove DFH beers from their ratings. But didn't read up on the investment.

Hey beer thread meat up dudes... Would you guys prefer Pinthouse Lamar or Burnet? I know Lamar is a hike but I like it because they typically have better beers on and parking isn't a PITA... Also, looks like both locations have a happy hour from 5-6 if we want to push things up a bit.

I vote Lamar. Burnet location only has a couple PHP brews available right now.

Burnet is far better for me, but don't plan around that.

Edit: I'm in if it's Burnet, out if Lamar.

Going to ABW changes the food situation, but the beer options, as far as local stuff, is better there than at PHP. PHP offers a ton of beers, just the Burnet location only has a few PHP beers.

Between those two, I always choose Mezcal, but I meant actual wine from the Valle de Guadalupe wine region in Baja. It's the next Napa.
