I found myself at jk today and got an extra ol oi. I'm in Houston, so you didn't find someone else to get one, I can hang on to it for you if you make it down here sometime.
Also, first time trying foudreweizen. I'm glad they still had that on this week.
My last Space Waves. I liked this beer.

Got a 4 pack of the Puff unfiltered IPA from Sixpoint Brewery earlier.
I liked it a lot. The unfiltered NE style ipa's are making an impression on me.

For the last several months I've been making a conscious effort to clean out of the beer in the fridge. All the detritus that never really gets drunk. The left over seasonal that is no longer in season, the random not very good IPA from the local brewery, the macrobeer you bought for a buddy who never came over, the 6 pack of Coronitas that someone brought us with a "Mexican casserole" when our twins were born 6 months ago. It's been a tough road and I've fallen off the wagon and restocked with better beer from time to time. But this afternoon my wife and I split the last two Coronitas and tonight with dinner I'm having a not your father's root beer that's been in the fridge for about two years.
My chore now complete, I've already restocked with some Raja, Buffalo sweat Firestone walker and a Speedway stout. Hopefully something is cold enough to drink by the time I finish this.

That must be a satisfying feeling.
Twas. That root beer was so sweet, I wasn't in the mood for a beer tonight. Needed some smoky scotch to flush the taste out. A nice Laguvalin 16

With so many good beers going to cans even that is a hard choice now.

It only happened once. I don't think I'd let another one in there. If someone actually brought some over, they can keep them in the garage.

Closing out Mother's Day with a 2016 Pumpkinator. Had some La Fin du Monde earlier with some absurdly good food.

I took a slight pause from buying much over the last 2 months. I've been trying to knock the collection down a bit. But something happened today. Probably won't be buying anything again for a while...
I've been very tempted by White Chocolate. Just haven't gotten past the price yet.
Part of me wishes they'd distribute to Texas, but then it always makes for a nice treat when out east.
Y'all. If you ever get a chance to hit up St. Louis, do it. That place is great. Has some really great food too and I was really digging the city. Plus watching the Cards play and beat our rivals was a huge bonus.
