I'm making my usual week trip to WI too. Unfortunately, the in-laws live in the middle of nowhere, so it's hard to find anything other than NG and some surly.

Got this in today from Moonraker Brewing in NorCal. Apparently, it beat out PtY in a contest up there. It is really good - piney and dank, but if it was possible to buy a can of PtY, I'd get that instead.

Had my first pirate bomb tonight. While it was darn good, I was a little underwhelmed. It's been a bit since my last regular bomb, but I think I like the regular better. I guess it just didn't meet lofty expectations.

I'm not sure if they plan on barreling more or not. The last one was for their anniversary party back in November...same day as the Tennessee game to be exact.

Nice! I'm actually headed to Santa Rosa/Napa for the next few days and have been trying to find a way to get some Moonraker. I'm guess that is a crowler from the brewery? If not, I wasn't aware that they were canning.

It's a 16oz can. I don't know how long they've been canning, but it's been at least a few months. I've got a guy up there that stands in line for the brewery releases. Said it was three hours for this one. He speaks highly of Fieldwork Brewing as well, but I haven't gotten any of those.

Fieldwork's Coconut Milk DIPA is legit, and Temescal in Oakland is also making great brews.
