The current exhibit at the Witte about the 300 years of SA includes Davy's violin (he was a classically trained violist) and the keys that opened the front door of the Alamo in the mid 1800's. When the city gives out the keys to the city they get a copy of those keys.

They also have on display two books, one from the Cathedral with baptisms from the 1730s as well as the Alamo book recording weddings and baptisms at that church. The first car (electric) that was in town is there. All kinds of really interesting things.

I've got a pic of that one on my phone, it was at the Wells Fargo at 410 and McCullough.

Also this was on r/sanantonio, taken somewhere on Huebner.



I just want to know, since it still has paper tags....was it purchased like that or did she go to Chuy to get it done right after she bought it?
