Out of curiosity, I've been following the recent story of the 15 year old found raped, strangled, and dumped under a bridge. There's a facebook support page and it's been like watching a train wreck. People are posting tips and screens shots all over the place.

If I'm correct, Rasko is the teen's ex who is locked up for murder. Julio is the newest flame/ex. Julio's mother is Linda Hernandez who has since changed her name to "Faith Hernan" and her profile is now limited after she made some nasty-ass comments about the murdered teen.

An upcoming festival on the #PuroSanAntonio level involves two things people here love most: barbacoa and Big Red.
The Barbacoa and Big Red 2015 festival will be an all-day devouring event on May 3 at R & J Music Pavillion in Thelma, about 30 minutes south of San Antonio.
"We had to try to be innovative, and come up with a creative idea to do something different than what the average festival does, and we felt San Antonio was the perfect match for barbacoa and Big Red," co-founder Tony Villarreal said. "It's a San Antonio Sunday tradition; you go to church, and then you go eat some Big Red and barbacoa."
The event is going on its fourth year of perfection, and festivals are twice a year, in the spring and fall. This is the fifth time the festival will be held at R & J, and last fall's attendance stood at 3,000.

Hands down the worst Aquarium I have ever seen. My grandmother had a neighbor with a fish pond in his back yard that was a better example of an aquarium than the car dealership aquarium of SA.

I read that an autistic kid was told he was dangerous at the aquarium last week. It was on a local TV stations fb.

Not sure who all voted but in true Puro SA fashion it looks like someone changed their name to "Mama Bexar" and is on the ballot for Mayor. I can only imagine her slogan has something to do with breakfast tacos.
