Broke the plastic handle on the built in microwave. I've found the part online from Sears, and the thing isn't cheap. It's just under $100 before shipping. The catch is, it says that a technician should install the handle because of the shielding in the door.
By the time I burn a vacation day to meet a tech, buy the part, AND pay a technician to do what I'm sure is a 10 minute job, I could probably swap out the whole unit!
How hard is it to get the door apart? How hard is it to not put the shielding back in correctly?
The top screw is easily accessible. The bottom one is concealed inside the door
