all pretty accurate.. except for one thing.
The whole 'reimagine the entry way', moving the front door to make it a split level; along with ripping up carpet to put in linoleum, redoing ceiling, adding a wall to close in the space, etc
Overall, in the 90s, people weren't buying a house and doing renovations right at move in, or talking about the renovations when house hunting like shown here. But I get why they added this dialogue in for comedic effect.
House hunters didn't even start until 1999. I'd say a few years into that, early/mid 2000s is when buyers started having ideas of renovating, tearing down walls, etc. during the buying process.
On a large scale anyway.
