After several quotes to replace the windows in my house, Window world is by far the cheapest. Anyone have any experience with them?

Highly recommend them. I love my new windows. They installed low-e windows in my house about a year ago and it was one of the best improvements I've made. The product is high quality, and warranteed for life. I had one crack on me - a quick phone call and a new sash was on my doorstep 2 days later.

They were very clean and professional. Start to finish was 2 1/2 hours, tops, for 10 windows.

four weeks to get them (they are made to order).

I also had a positive experience with Window World. I replaced all my single pane aluminum frame windows with their low-e double pane windows. I've been very happy and the price was reasonable...very reasonable. I replaced a couple windows on my house myself (bought double pane windows from HD and install them). But found that Window World windows were better quality than the standard double panes I bought at HD and installed they were not much more expensive per window.

Used Window World as well for my house. I was originally getting quotes from Gulf Coast Windows and Home Depot which were coming in around 10k. A while back I read RTT's review over on the Houston board which turned me on to Window World. Their quote came in around $5.5k plus $1.5 tax credit (which I think expired in 2010).

I have been doing a lot of remodeling at my house and can honestly say I was very impressed with the professionalism and cleanliness of their installation team. The windows have only been in for about a month now so no long term performance feedback but I can say I was very happy with the process, cost, and the end product.

For reference my windows were ordered in late October, installation was mid-December.

FYI - Gulf Coast Windows buys their windows from Window World and marks them up.
