NBC coverage has fallen so far behind CBS. It definitely feels like CBS has made a major effort the last year to improve their broadcast with technology and fewer/better commercial interruptions. NBC is as bad as ever.

Doesn't help that Kevin Kisner provides absolutely nothing. He barely speaks and when he does it's the most bland, obvious point you could possibly make.

He's an idiot. Guys who are hitting fairways and greens are in contention. Guys that aren't, aren't. Luck is blasting it 350 and not caring where it ends up as long as you have a good shot at recovering.

It's just too bad a handful of top names haven't been able to play super consistent.

That said we've still got top players sniffing around.

They are all playing the same course, everyone was there. It's hard. People complain about anything.

Someone gets a career achievement here, pop a top and watch the carnage.

Enjoying watching Scott play so well. Normally I don't like foreigners to win the US Open but it would be cool to see him get it done.

Luck is what happens at the Open Championship and why it frequently gets the out of no where winners. ie Todd Hamilton, Ben Curtis and what should have been Van de Velde but for some major brain cramps.

Should be an awesome final round for Sunday.

Honestly one of my least favorite golfers on the PGA tour

I like Rory but his surliness after finally winning the Masters is perplexing to say the least.

I just wish Rory would just ride in to the sunset and go away at this point. He's the whiniest little b**** out there these days.

What a call

Someone in the middle of the pack will get hot and be in the leaderboard if not in the lead tomorrow.

I've never been a big Rory fan - even early on in his career he appeared off putting to me, and much of his public persona appeared to be a contrived image focused on pandering. I also thought during the rise of LIV he was petty and silly in some of his comments (although after the fact it appears the PGAT was heavily trying to influence/dictate the words of their top stars during that time).

But when it comes to the vid above and his actions with the press, I don't think thats a big deal. Golf press and sports media in general, has become insufferable to me. I get next to no information of value out of their post round interviews and press conferences.

The questions are often dumb and bring no enlightenment to the average fan. Sometimes they even go into irrelevant personal and social details. I see the above example, asking him if he's daring the tour to make it a requirement, as just stirring the pot stupidity. Idc if Rory wants to talk to the press or not - focus on the players who have a chance tomorrow and the quality golf moments of a major championship.

Woah, you played golf with Jordan Spieth this morning?

People have been asking for a bad guy persona on tour since all the LIV guys took bigly bags. Here's a guy, maybe leaning into that roll a bit now, and, we complain. Always something to whine about I guess. Guy is likely top 10 all-time, watch him play golf. Plenty of others who really care about how you feel about them now though.

He has become extremely unlikeable. All his Ryder Cup drama, constantly making comments about Americans (watch him in the episode with Shane Lowry on Full Swing), etc all while living in the USA and becoming super rich and famous in large part because of Americans … just stfu already

I still like Rory.

Golf drama is the best lol. Take the most minor ounce of anything and try make it into something huge because golf never has any real drama.

I applaud Rory for at least being honest and open and continuing to do so. Most of these guys go up there and spew coach speak and it's basically nothing.

He's just fed up with the insufferable *****s he has to act nice to when they ask stupid gotcha questions for clicks or, "How does it FEEL to ____(fill in the blank____________?" everytime by some box checking spare.

They are not his friends, and he knows it. He went out of his way for a long time; helped him in no way.

Rory is fine but saying the media leaked his driver testing is wrong. The media reported it, not leaked it. Hes mad at the wrong people.

The issue really shouldn't be that big of deal but I get the casual fan thinks he was cheating because they don't understand that drivers get illegal as they are hit more by professionals not that they are intentionally hitting a hot driver. (Although if Patrick Reed had one I might be suspicious)

I do wonder why the PGA doesn't test every driver every week since the test doesn't take that long to do and players can then see when they are nearing the limits. They also should at least disclose how many each week were determined to be illegal even if they don't release names so people see this is a relatively common issue.
