From the country so I've played in the 100s but definitely not 110+

Tons of sunscreen and water on deck I guess lol

Last summer in Houston. Multiple 100+ days. I'm thinking Palm Springs would feel cooler!

108 in Fresno. The staff thought I was nuts, but being from Houston it was no problem. Didn't even sweat.

108ish. A small cooler with icewater and a neck towel to dip into it every hole or two is the key for me. I'll hang the towel on the cart windshield while I hit, then back to the neck it goes. Makes a huge difference

Second on the neck towel. But I'll add, bring multiple towels, so you can have one on and one on ice then swap every couple of holes.

Yes, I usually have 2 going, although if you go the ice-water route vs just ice, one will do it.

114 in Munday playing in the 3-man out there. Just knew we were going to have 3-4 guys drop it was so hot. Just enough humidity to make it even more miserable.

Those farmers kept the beer kept flowing and not one person fell out! My beer after the round tasted like it came from God's personal stash

Neck towel in cooler a must. Also wide brim hat. Could do those sun sleeves too

About 107 at PK for bachelor party. Thank god a thundercloud moved in about 16th hole or I would have died.

I also recommend putting my wrists into an ice water bucket every couple of holes. A buddy recommend it a number of years ago to get your body temp down quickly and it helps me a ton along with the neck towel.

I live in Phoenix. Rotate neck towels and wear sleeves. Wet the sleeves when you get the chance.

109 with my brother after work last summer.

No one else on the course. We ended up finishing shirtless and barefoot playing John Daly golf.

Was a great time with plenty of sun screen and cold ones.

117 dry El Paso heat when I was young. No humidity and lack of understanding that I could stop. Being midterms was interesting

Not sure on number but afternoon Vegas rounds in July/August when green fees are half price would probably take the cake.

A few years ago, me and another Ag played when it was 113 degrees. It was a dry heat thank goodness, but it still felt really hot. We had a little ice cooler with us. Neck towels were used, and we poured water over our heads every couple of holes.

Like a bucket hat or we taking Nick Saban sized wide brim? Neither have been my style but might be down if I can find a comfortable one

Little Rock Arkansas early 2000's.

115 degrees, designated as the hottest spot in the US that day.

Kept drinking gatorade... but felt sick as we finished. Threw up a bucket of red gatorade right outside of the clubhouse.

I had heat stroked.

Laid in bed for 3 days after.

I was young, dumb and didn't know how to play in hot weather.

Last 15 years, routinely played in 105-112 weather in Central Valley CA. White shirt, big hat, compression white shirt, a cooler with ice and water. wet towel in ice water and around neck and head every hole.

Nothing to it.

Either would work - whatever to keep that sun off of your neck.

Played in the scenario the OP described - Palm Springs in that temperature.

Being from the Houston area it didn't bother me as much as suffocating humidity that we're accustomed to. It just felt like a dry intense heat, but not unbearable.

Last year in Scottsdale. 110 three days straight. Being from south Texas it wasn't terrible until the last couple of holes each day.

Grew up in LA and played Jr Golf in SoCal, so, ALOT of our tourneys were in Palm Springs/Cathedral City area in the summer. 95-100 with humidity here in CSTX area is way worse than 115 zero humidity in the desert in my opinion. Beware of sunburn and that's about it, it's not gonna feel hotter than here.

August in Scottsdale a couple years ago was up there out of pure heat. But last week at Streamsong with the humidity and walking certainly felt more uncomfortable

Lived in Scottsdale for three years. Regularly played 54 holes a weekend over three summers in 100-120 degree heat. The "dry" heat took a little getting used to but after a couple of months, it wasn't bad. Even when you're not sweating, you have to maintain hydration.

Played a couple of tournaments in July last year that were pretty brutal. I don't know what the exact temperatures were, but everything last summer was awful.

Went to Scottsdale in September where temps were around 102-103 every day and it felt like a huge relief from the weather we were having in Texas. People in Scottsdale told us we timed out trip perfectly because temps were around 115 the week before.

Fabric bucket hat or bush hat can be treated like the wet / cold towels.

Similar temps when I played in Palm Springs one summer as well. We played in those conditions for 5 days straight and it wasn't that bad. I think when we got into our rental car one day after an afternoon round and the temp read 117. That said, I played in Houston in June after it had rained the day before. We teed off at 11 and I felt like I was about to have a heat stroke after the round. I'd take Palm Springs hot over that any day of the week

Just got back from Palm Springs. 4 days of 36 with a group that we meet out there every year. Completely agreed on the neck towel to keep in the cooler. Park your cart in the shade - even if it means more steps. Also might consider taking a beach towel to put on the seat. Lip sunscreen is a must as well. Take huge water jug and fill up with water at every chance.

I've been drinking Liquid IV this summer. Better than Gatorade too.

I snagged a box so I can start getting serious about hydrating a few days before I head out

I cut up one to 2 inch cubes of water melon and bring a container in a ice cooler. Best thirst quencher.
