Won 4&2. I got a pop on him on hole 15. He stuffed it to 4' for birdie. I was on the front of the green for birdie (70'...not joking) and I made it. Crushed his soul. He went OB on 16, looked at me, and said good match. That was that.

What do you do for sweaty hands making grips slippery?

Kid had a lesson today and the sweat was pouring off him

1) Rain gloves vs regular gloves. Footjoys are great

2) keep a towel pulled through my belt over my back right pocket. As I'm standing behind the ball picking my line before I address the ball, I will reach back with my right hand and grab the towel for one last dry of my non-gloved hand. Can also use it on the grip of needed. Some of those cotton sack kitchen towels work well for this; so light you don't even know it's there

Other than that, I keep a good absorbent towel on my bag that I can use for my hands and grip every time I pull a club

Whatever tomorrow is going to be in Pasadena.

ETA we did 27 holes at Pasadena Municipal Course. 0910 tee time. Played 18 the decided to do the front 9 again. Borderline miserable.

Some of my buddies played Longbow in Mesa, AZ today and one told me to he had to quit after 16 holes. Supposed to be 112 today. It rained Saturday night so the humidity is brutal.

Last Friday I played in feels-like 114 temps and wanted to die.

Yesterday 5th 9 hole match of the weekend. After 18 practice round Friday. In our 5th round match at the end and in the shootout it was 105 felt like 115F

Played the nudist course in Las Vegas when it was something like 112 outside. Dry heat, but still really hot. Pretty tolerable in the shade actually. Played Tour 18 years ago when it was 102 and that felt much worse.

My office is about 10-15 minutes from there. I like to go use the range on my "lunch break". It can get awfully damn hot in just 30-45 minutes.

I played Bay Forest yesterday in La Porte and the temps werent too bad at all. Nice cloud cover actually.

109 in Georgetown right now. I'm not playing, btw

We had some cloud cover for awhile, but once it hit 2pm or so it was brutal. For the record I was the 1/4 who wasn't all in on playing the front 9 again but gave in to peer pressure.

I walked 9 today here in Colorado, I think it got up to 86*... Just brutal.
