Kim looked like a homeless man playing golf today. It was embarrassing imo

It was certainly hot today out there. I bought an umbrella at the merchandise store when I arrived and am glad i did to keep from being baked all day walking around. Parking was pretty easy and no real issues there to speak of. It was nice to not have to pay extra just to park.

Overall experience was better than the Houston Open. The volunteers weren't overzealous and it certainly was more laid back in my opinion. I enjoyed it and the music wasn't all that bad. It's not blaring loud anyways where you can't hear each other talking.

I do think they should set up a few more concessions stands throughout as it is needed in this heat and it would be nice if they set up more places to sit around tee boxes and such at the back part of the course. They had a couple water stations for free although it wasn't cold water. One spot had an ice machine but I forget which hole it was on.

So, outside of the heat, I'd call it a positive experience.

It was wild that there were no volunteers as fairway crossings. It was like the wild west but everyone showed great etiquette

Some groups had 4 people walking with them. Maybe 3.

I was at 16 birdie shack and it was still miserably hot at the tent. If it's in march or april next year it would be perfect!

On the grounds now. This is a party where guys happen to be playing golf and that's fine. Not everything has to be serious. I would say this definitely feels like an exhibition. Can see how non golf fans would be attracted for sure. Looking forward to a fun day.

People, do not go down Mesa!!! Use Wilson Rd. Fall Creek Bend is way backed up and taking me forever to get home.

I was working the fairway on hole 6 on Friday and in the afternoon there were a couple of groups with nobody walking with them. In the far reaches of the course- holes 5-7, even the popular groups had plenty of room for spectators.

I'm sitting in a bar watching the baseball game and they put this on one TV. Not seeing many people at least on TV.

Good info. Weird as heck with only a handful of people watching some of the best players in the world. Problem is they aren't playing for much of anything. No history. No massive championship. I'm going to their team event in Dallas. It is what it is exhibition golf. At some point the merger will happen. But good to see some got some good time out there. I do miss seeing some of the big names

I was watching the super regional and just glanced at it between innings. I was at Union Grill in Gilbert, AZ and wasn't the only one in Aggie gear believe it or not.

I didnt mention competitive golf because i was talking about the experience of the tournament. If bryson went back to the pga it would hurt liv but i think they could moneywhip another big name like they did rahm.

Have a link? I've never read or seen that.

I haven't seen that in print either but the general thought is the only reason he finally went was because he thought it would bring the two tours back together quickly. That and a boatload of money I guess. You can tell it's not his thing with his comments at the PGA about how he still considers himself a PGAT member.

Yeah I don't doubt he's struggling a little with the transition but I don't think he's upset or regretting it at this point. Ive seen mixed comments by him so it's hard to tell. I think the biggest frustration for him is he hasn't won yet.

Will be very interested to see how his thoughts continue to adapt come mid July when they play in Spain.
