Does registering for only one ticket increase my chances??

literally the first or second year I did it I got four tickets to both Tue and Wed.

Traded three of the Tuesday tickets, and all the Wednesday tickets for a free room in a house for three nights (guys in my company were using to take clients) near the course and one Thursday ticket.

Went Tuesday and it was glorious. Wednesday, I went north of Atlanta to see a customer (to make this a business trip!), Thursday we walked in the front gate and lightening hit. Play suspended until late afternoon, and we had late afternoon flights back to Houston. Never saw a shot that day.

I'm in for the rejection!

If it makes you feel any better was in a ticket pool with 3 other guys one of which had his unsuspecting students and residents putting in for us as well. Took us 13 years (or 52+ attempts) to finally hit last year.

We've discussed that before. Folks have tried every iteration of #s without any pattern of success or failure.

It's a mystery how they select. I'm trying to think of a scenario where requesting less would help your odds. Like if 999 of 1000 tix have been selected then someone requesting one would get it over someone requesting more. But if there's 998 selected, do two ppl requesting 1 get it. Or one person requesting 2.

Recently moved and when I went to submit my application it said that this address is already in use. I imagine if I call in they'll get it switched to me, but just curious if anyone else has ever dealt with this before?

My friend has that issue. Told told to just call but don't think he has

Was pretty quick and painless. It takes a while to get through all the pre-recorded messaging, but then they just check the address and ask you about the person who was previously registered there and then remove them so you can submit your application

I sent them a utility bill and my DL to get my address changed over

Particularly given the >95% chance that you won't be drawn.

Wow that's surprising. The lady I spoke with just removed the old contact so that I could register. No proof of address needed.

Reminder to also enter the lottery for tickets to the ANWA! No, it isn't the Masters, but it still gets you to Augusta National.

I am prepared to be hurt again.

Was lucky enough to get two practice rounds back in 2016 but couldn't make it. Sold it to a Ag thru TA.

Haven't been picked since. Wondering if it's my punishment for letting them go.

Should be getting close to the annual rejection email.
