It's one of the hardest courses in the country and it looks like they are playing it from 7,667 yards. This will not be a typical Korn Ferry birdie fest.

Sam is in a featured group today as he's paired with the guy in front of and behind him in the points.

I knew the course was hard, but I guess I didn't grasp how crazy it could get. The broadcast lead in said the course record, when playing from an insane maximum yardage of 8,100, is only -1.

yes. with the limited field events its made the other tour stops harder for KFT grads to get in to. If he does get his card around 28-30 its likely he'll make a few KFT starts next year too.

The guys 25-30 from 2023 all played around 19 events, and maybe 1 KF event.

The top guys from 2023 played 22-24 events.

If Sam earns his card, I can't imagine you'll see him play any KF next season.

Man I hope Tourcast is wrong. Because it shows he was in the middle of the fairway and was 140 yards out and just hit a 70 yard shot, short of the green

how he only hit a 70 yard shot from the middle of the fairway is beyond me. Left it 70 yards short of the green. Maybe he was in a divot?

Not great day but got some birdies to keep it from being a disaster. No cut and it'll basically be him and 6 guys vying for the last few spots. Lower score of those few will get you in.

I believe he won twice but needs 3 wins to get the promotion right? Otherwise I'd be curious why he didn't go back and play on the tour.

Currently projected to finish 31 due to some guy outside of the top 30 leading the tournament right now. I think if that guy drops out of the top 3, Bennett should be okay as long as no one else outside the top 30 makes a big move this weekend.

Also, finishing higher than Cone would go a long way. They are both tied in this tournament and in the season standings at the moment.
