Yep. But it's a true three shot oar 5. At least that has been his strategy all weekend.
Again, even on the par 5s.GigEmJake17 said:
Last hole. Par 5. Birdie gets him a T2. Eagle a solo 2. Would be great time to buck his poor par 5 performance this tourney.
nailed it. + Putting is feast or famine. But his longer irons and driving is elite. He has actually picked up some distance from a couple years ago.FriscoKid said:
Been watching him a lot. His drives are top tier PGA quality. Maybe not the longest, but he hits fairways. I really think it's his short irons that are letting him down. But, back to back 3rd place finishes are putting him closer to getting his tour card.

and still can't buy a birdie on a par 5.... just missed a 3 footer... it is a meme at this point

From what I could tell on the play by play, he was on in 2 on that par 5 & 3 putted. That has to be frustrating.
they changed it to par lolFriscoKid said:
This can't be right though.
they way the KFT tracks them is like those Across sensors but clipped to them and a volunteer lasers putts. It detects when they swing and marks that location. He must have done something like a swing down there. It leads to some funny outcomes when it goes wrong.FriscoKid said:
