What is going on, how are their this many winners??

I'm happy for all the winners... but mildly jealous.

Happy for everyone on here who won the lottery! Sadly lost out for the 12th year in a row.

Wow - so far I've counted 12 winners for the Masters and 2 for the ANWA. Never expected to see this many winners on TexAgs in one year.

I think we are finally seeing relief from AN having to make up for covid. Lots of 2020 winners that they had to work thru. I also think there was a Tuesday practice round suspension in 2022 that they made up for with 2023 tickets, which were likely 2020 winners that finally got their round

100% correct. I also think there was a practice round rainout recently which led to a full day of carryovers to the next year.

Yep, 2020 and 2021 were basically non-events for ticket holders. And 2022 lost a day to weather. This is the first time since July 2019 that they've had a normal, full lottery

Has anyone used a mobility scooter at the masters? I'd like to take my Dad, he's 75 and would def have to have it to get around.

I found their policy which allows them but was hoping for some real world feedback on if anyone has used one there. What areas to avoid, stay on paths? Would we need to rent an All terrain version to make it worth while etc.

There are no cart paths. And it's so hilly that I would be very careful on where to actually traverse. I might make it a goal to get him to a chair on 15-16, which isn't far from the back entry gate. Lots of great action to see here. Then at some point could cruise down to Amen Corner.

Yea I went in 2016 but honestly can't remember where is any hard paths were besides the gift shop. It seems like he would need some sort of off road version because I'd like him to "walk the course".

The hard paths are on the SW corner of the course splitting the fairway on 4 & 5 and around the green on 6 and tee on 7. There also some near the green on 5, the green on 13 & 15, and 16 tee. The previously mentioned back entrance would definitely be best. You could still use the main entrance to use the hard paths near the driving range, main gift shop, and clubhouse.

You can see the hard paths on Google Maps. The paths will get you within 30 yards of good viewing on every hole except #9.

Looks like we went about 0/5 on households this year. Dad and I have decided we are going regardless though. Will probably start looking to buy when people actually get their tickets and prices come down. Anyone have any experience or advice buying on secondary?

Tuesday is the best value.

As a brand-spanking new Tuesday 4x ticket holder (and after years of being turned down), any insight into why Tuesday's a good value?

2nd cheapest. Everyone plays. Fun atmosphere. Ball skipping on 16 is fun. You can bring a camera.

Sure. And to be clear, i mean value based on aftermarket prices.

Wednesday draws a big premium due to the par 3, but it's a mass of humanity in a small space while there isn't much action on the regular course. Thursday and Friday are the best days overall because no one is cut yet, and prices reflect that. Saturday-Sunday are good too but usually cheaper than Thurs-Fri. Monday is cheapest and good for walking the course and seeing some practice, but the amount of play is a lot less than Tuesday
