Sam had one hell of a Tourney. Easily a top 5 amateur performance of all time at the Masters. Final grouping on day three, solo second place, top 20 finish, etc etc.
Some posters here like to lead with the negative and always point out what's bad (maybe to make themselves feel better), but that was one hell of a performance and one for the ages.

It could be awhile before he gets another chance to play at this tournament. Needs a tour card, which isn't easy, and then has to get into the Top 50 in the OWGR.

I don't know. College golf season finishes in May? June? So to remain exempt to The Open you'd have to hold off for a month or two? Might be worth it.
It sounds like Bennett is fully committed to senior season for A&M. That will run into June. If that's the case, he will stay amateur for another month to get an invite into British Open.

Think it just depends on if he would need to get a start on securing his tour card. He will likely get some exemptions into Tour tourneys and will wanna be pro for them so they count towards getting his card.
I've seen him support PGA tour on his Twitter in the past when LIV was starting based on his RTs and likes. I assume he would go Tour route but money talks.Pahdz said:

Just a guess but he already turned down $$ by coming back for his senior Aggie season so thinking he'll turn down LIV ( and they will offer) unless it is stupid 8 figures.
