Sam coming up in the app and Masters.com - every shot on 15 and 16. Nice drive on 15.

Kind of begs the question, why would CBS/ESPN do the broadcast at cost?
The only entity making any money is Augusta National?
Rich getting richer I guess.
Because just being affiliated with an event this prestigious still draws prestige and eyeballs to their networks. And it's at a time of year where the opportunity cost is little. They'd be showing cornhole or something
As far as "rich get richer", AN leaves an absolute ****load of $$$ on the table
Yeah, it's definitely a dead spot on the sports calendar. But they are giving away an absolute ****-ton of inventory to accommodate Augusta.
Masters merchandise is crazy expensive and it's everywhere. Augusta is a brand and the networks are producing and broadcasting a 15 hour commercial for them for free.
Those Augusta members didn't become Augusta members by selling **** for free.

What merch? The merch you see online is all resellers. The only merch from AN is sold on site during the tournament for extremely reasonable prices. But some do buy it up and resell it because there is a fat profit to be made since AN doesnt charge anywhere near what they could for it or offer other ways to get it
The tickets? Cheap
The food? Cheap
The merch? Cheap
But resellers do try to exploit that fact
They were definitely pro-shop prices on everything. And "fair price" for a lot of their premium stuff is up there. I took a look at a couple pullover sweaters that were $400. I looked at a straw hat for my wife that was $95. Baseball caps were $35. Ladies' cotton hooded sweatshirts were $90.aginlakeway said:TxAgswin said:DannyDuberstein said:TxAgswin said:

Masters merchandise is crazy expensive? How so? It's a bargain there.
They sell everything at MSRP. Zero markup. Most local golf shops sell the same product for 20% more. And at the US Open, more like 30% more.
Like concession prices, merchandise prices are very reasonable at the Masters.

Can't speak to what stuff costs at other majors, but I didn't see the concession-pricing mentality on display in the merch shop.

He's generally been following bad putts and bad chips with good ones.

That's 5 or 6 missed birdie putts this round.
So close, but so far away.

Bennett will need to get to -4 if he wants a Top 12 finish. Time to start hunting flags.
