Unrealistically, Sam Bennett. Would be one of the most unbelievable stories in modern sports history. Realistically pulling for him to win the gold medal.

Tiger is another unrealistic rooting interest. Would be a hell of a story.

Lots of people would make a cool story. Mostly rooting for an exciting tournament. Give me Tony Finau, Max Homa, or Jason Day.

Anybody running away with it. I always find Keegan Bradley and Jordan Spieth annoying for some reason.

Just back today from being there on Monday - we were right there when this happened.

The wife and I had come up 13 to the teeing area around 12 and were just right of the tee if you are facing the green.

Tom Kim was walking from tee across the Hogan bridge - I was telling some near us that he must have gone back out for another round on the back 9 - we had seen him with Tiger/Rory/Freddie earlier.

We didn't even know that another group was hitting when the crowd went crazy.

We didn't "see" the hole in one, but we "were there".

What a day!

Pretty much most of the LIV guys. Not necessarily because they are LIV per se, but except for a handful, they pretty much are the jackasses I didn't like before they went to the LIV. It's kind of funny how many of the guys I didn't like previously ended up migrating to LIV. Then a couple I didn't have a beef with before ended up becoming jackasses since.

Pick to win?

Scheffler. He's just hot right now, though after watching Sam Burns at the WGC Dell Match Play, I'm tempted to make him my pick. But Scheffler is just at that peak right now.

How many LIV guys in the top 10?

1-2. Brooks K and then maybe Bryson DeC. They just haven't been tested this year leading up to the Masters like the rest of the guys playing in 72-hole PGA tournaments. That has to be a factor that comes into play.

Does Tiger finish top 25?

No. I'm not sure he will even make the cut. I hope I'm wrong, and I'm rooting for him.
