Last year, my son-in-law, along with other CBS execs and sponsors were allowed to play the course on the Monday after the final round. Jim Nance even stayed over to announce the players. I wonder what he could have sold his place for on the open market?Texmid said:
Two questions.
1. How much would you pay to play Augusta if that was an option? (I think I could scrape together $10,000 for a round.)
2. You are given the chance to play Augusta, however, you have this dilemma. The round is free if you can make one birdie, playing from the tips, as it is set up for the pros. If you fail to make a birdie you spend one year in jail. (I think I would have to sit that one out.)
