Better Ball Romo/JFF are 1up on Ben Kern with 4 holes left for both JFF and Kern. Romo went bogey-bogey-birdie-par on those holes

Interesting I see Robert McMillan down there at +8. For a long time he taught at my local driving range. Now I think he's set up at Bear Creek by DFW airport.

earlier predictions I made were without looking at the course, and assuming par was 72. Hole #10 is playing as a 496 yd par 4 for this event, so par is 70. That moved my O/U from 82 to 80, and even with that JFF got the under.

Considering he had 3 triples, not a bad 15 holes at all.

but...as predicted - just "shooting in the 70s" in this gets you DAL.

I thought some Aggies believed JFF could make it on tour with dedication? We are seeing now how unbelievably talented these guys are. Nothing against Manziel, its just golf is hard.

Reportedly, only Gabe Bock was that delusional.

I think everybody who had a little bit of sense knew that JFF had little to no chance of making the tour.

Hey JFF is not in last now. 3 of my friends are playing this, Jerrod Turner -3, Brax McCarthy who is -7 and Brandon Massey who is +1 right now. All 3 of these guys play in our money games. We have some solid players at our club.

6 guys from my club are in danger of missing the cut. Some of them have played on the Lat Am tour, Mackenzie, and others. One of them even won a mini tour event in Louisiana this year.

Some of us have been saying it a while on this forum, but the expectation that Johnny will just waltz into pro level golf and find success is delusional.

Golf is hard.

he's doing much better than I anticipated, clearly.

But just think about the sliver of the pie of golfers than can play in this event and compete are in...then realize they are a sliver of a sliver when you then lump on minitours in FL, CA,AZ and then a sliver of the KFT and PGA Tour guys. So much talent out there.

I thought he could do well if he was dedicated, but I don't think he is actually dedicated. He would need to be Alex Bregman level dedicated. For reference, the story on Bregman in high school is that he was at the cage/field/gym from 6am to 9am every morning and from 2pm - midnight many days.

Johnny has the resources to practice like that but not the drive. The dude has had the most exhilarating sports moment of his life. I'd argue for most people winning the Heisman is greater thrill than winning a major. He has plenty of money, it would take some incredible want to that at his age and accomplishment I cant see him having
