Players download the app and update after each hole. They score in real time. Staff double checks at the turn. It's not updating for some reason or there's 35 guys on the tee boxes of 5,6 15 and 16.

I noticed that Romo is actually paired with his long-time golf instructor (and usual caddy in these events).

JJ Killeen is paired with Johnny so that should be a great "Fore The People" podcast in the near future.

He's in Arizona playing golf every day until school starts next month. One of the guys he works with though, Carlos Sainz, is playing. He's a great player who played at Mississippi State and the mini-tours in Arizona for a few years.

Really good players in this field.

Good friend Brax McCarthy won this event few years ago. Tony Romo or Jff couldn't touch scores he posted even if they careered it .

I would say anywhere from -3 to -8 or -9

They won't shoot scores much lower on an individual round ....they just do it more often.

Lots of talent at this event though

My buddy is friends with Romo and they played together yesterday. Said his short game has improved a ton and thought he would play better than +1. If he hits his driver well he should shoot under par tomorrow

Supposedly greens are growing really fast and are noticeably slower this afternoon...might help johnny

3 bogeys and 1 birdie. The scoring is only as accurate as the player inputting it. I think that accounts for the discrepancy.

not on the 9th hole. Scorecard says he birdied the 14th then bogeyed the 15th(he started on the back)

So if that's the case he was never +3.

72 holes. They cut the field tomorrow and those remaining play 2 more rounds. 65 players at -1 or better so something like -2 or -3 probably is the cut line.
