Legit trip. Highly recommend it.

Course is A+. Super fun and super scenic. Played it each day we were here and still want more. The flight from Love on JSX was so easy.

I'll definitely be coming back.

JSX was great out of Houston as well.

Out of Dallas, they also fly to Vegas. Houston, they fly to Destin. The flights aren't really any more than commercial.

They fly a ton of places from Vegas. From DAL you can get to Horseshoe Bay, Lajitas, Houston, Vegas, and Destin.

Any time I fly to one of those spots I'll be checking JSX first.

They have a ton of stops on the west coast. I'm hoping for a Houston to napa flight. Would be a game changer not having to drive from San Fran.

They vary. You can look up the rates on their website but last time I looked at Houston-Destin, round trip was around $400.

Edit-and you park for free 50 yards from the plane. And no security lines. And luggage is included. And so is drinks, including booze.

how do you find flights out of Houston that arent to Dallas? All I have been able to find out of Houston go to Dallas.

I would book a flight to Lajitas in a heartbeat!

Funny story. The downhill par 3 in the last picture. One of the long hitters in my group has the crazy idea to try and hit the green on the other side of the hill behind it. Absolutely ripped one and put it on the edge of the green.

In Houston, they fly out of hobby, but it's out of the private air hangars on the other side of the airport.

Edit-think I misread your post. I didn't set it up but I think the Lajitas flight is part of a package. Not sure if the Lajitas flight can be booked on its own.

And just if you're wondering, when I went in April, the package was a Wednesday flight out, 2 nights at the resort, 3 rounds of golf, and the return flight friday afternoon was about $3,000.

The costs for flight, three rounds of golf, and two nights of lodging was $1538 for double occupancy. Can't remember if that was including tax or not.

Subtract about $400 for non-golfers. I'm sure it's more expensive in the primo season.

June gets hot. High today was closing in on 110 which was by far the hottest day.

We actually had decent weather. High yesterday was probably close to 100. We teed off about 10:20 so didn't get the worst of it but it was still hot. My wife and my buddy's girlfriend rode with us and we all were fine. Plenty of water and the carts provide some shade (and breeze when you're moving).

The whole "dry heat" thing is real, IMO. It was freakin hot at times but it is different than being in high humidity.

In Dallas they fly out of an executive terminal at Love. It was super easy. Park right next to the terminal, drop your clubs and bag, walk into the plane.
