At least 2 times I've seen. Several years ago they played the final round at the masters. Speith made a great charge and almost won. Thomas played horrible and noted that he made it harder on Speith. A couple years later in some other tournament that I forget which one, the exact opposite happened and they referenced the masters round.

But I like Hovland. He's a great kid and never takes that smile off his face. Champ on the other hand is bringing politics into one of the last sports we have with such a small portion of it. That's why I root against him.

Wouldn't doubt it. Culturally it'd be like Pacio winning a belt. Just a rise into the highest realm of sport not historically represented in that light.

Im not going to root against Champ - he's still an Aggie and I'd like to see him do well. At the same time I'm not going to embrace the corporate driven woke nonsense he's promoting. I have no problem separating the two.
