It'll be interesting to watch Hideki with a lead. Usually he's chasing and needs to make putts. Tomorrow his usual ball striking and two putts are the perfect strategy.

Also I was shocked to see Spieth throw away three shots with his putter late. Very abnormal for him to three putt 13 and 16 and then miss that shorty on 18. I guess it's not his year after all, unless he goes crazy tomorrow.

it's possible for someone below that to get there, but the odds are better they don't replay the opening tee shot at least 3 times than someone shooting 64 or better tomorrow

I still think Spieth is the floor. If someone can do -7, one of these guys will get to -4. Sunday tends to have some birdie pins.

A 6 stroke comeback has been done a few times. 7 and 8 were done once, but the 8 in particular was totally freakish circumstances (Venturi led as an amateur and collapsed with an 80 on a crazy day where 1 guy shot under par)

A lot of Japanese people won't learn English. They are really proud of their culture and dont see the need to branch out. Hell. Some know it but refuse to speak it. At least that's what I've gathered from my several trips there.

This isn't my experience working for a Japanese company. For one, in school they do learn English but it's all reading and writing, so they struggle talking and hearing English. Secondly, they're conservative in general and dont like to take risks, so even if they do speak good English they try to avoid those situations if they can (email instead of call).

I have a lot of coworkers who complain about their English that speak great easily understood English. I have some that will never answer a call from me and insist on emails. They say it's because they don't want to miss anything I say or be misunderstood. If I'm talking, they may only catch 80% but the 20% is what they're worried about.

But universally all the Japanese people I know want to speak good English. They know it's a key to being part of the global economy. Those that are doing expat assignments in the US desperately try to get their kids to learn "native" English during their time here so they have better opportunities.

Off the top of my head, 2 and 16 both funnel to the hole on Sunday if you hit a good shot.

13 and 15 are potential eagles as well.
