having a different app for every dam thing is etting to be so *******ed annoying. even though i have an espn+ subscription through disney +, it wont play anything. i liked streaming when it was simple and you didnt need 15 different accounts just to watch something. so frustrating.

What's ridiculous is the ESPN app (I have both espn+ and a cable login) refused to work yesterday, but the masters app worked flawlessly. Pretty impressive that "the dinosaur" Augusta National has better tech than ESPN.

On that note, both the IBM and ESPN commercials i saw yesterday seemed to be advertising to a different demographic than I'd expect during masters coverage.
Yeah, I've stuck with DirecTV through the years because (1) toggling between apps is a beatdown and (2) sports. Agree that the evolution we are seeing was very predictable. These services come out offering a good deal to build a subscriber base, then they start putting the screws to you on cost or reduction of service. I view what I'm paying a bit like paying people to mow my yard. Could I go to the trouble to do it myself? Sure. But it's a very small dent in the monthly budget for convenience combined with knowing I can watch what I want.ORAggieFan said:third coast.. said:

I told people to resist cord cutting because of this. Was pretty obvious what would happen. It sucks.
