Yellow range balls and untucked shirts are not my taste, but the sport needs to do whatever it takes to bring in more customers. The industry is shrinking

Nobody tucks in anymore. It's not apart of golf style right now.

I suppose my comments apply more broadly to the state of private clubs and the shrinking customer base at the higher end properties where untucked shirts are not the norm. But that's where the industry relies for sponsorship and promotion dollars which drives tournament purses, advertising and equipment/apparel manufacturers. Public courses alone will fall far short from supporting the game of golf.

Could have summed it up quicker with "Ahoi polloi."

I was able to play colonial this summer and have played there several times and untucked is much more common than tucked there.
