OK, I'm not THAT bad of a husband and we'd have a lot of fun. With all the concerts I say I'm going to with her usual reply of "I assume you're going with (whatever buddy wants to go?)", she just surprised me.

But she likes to watch the Majors with me so guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Other than the ticket cost, it can otherwise be a fairly cheap trip (well, maybe getting out of the merch shop without spending a fortune can be tough but that's on you), especially if you are willing to do a little driving and stay near Atlanta.
Totally agree with is. It's actually a very easy event to get tickets for.

People spend more money on less, IMO ...

I just hate the way they word it. The first sentence always sounds like you won. Something like...

The members of Augusta National would like to inform you that your application was not selected for 2018 Masters Tournament tickets.

Like they get off on stringing you along then drop the bomb and crush all the hope you had.

You take too big of a risk selling or giving them away. If the holder of your ticket does something stupid and gets that pass pulled then you are blackballed from ever getting a ticket.


I would never give them to a knucklehead. I know the first year I went (they were tickets from a player in the tournament) and I remember being told that if you did something stupid it would reflect poorly on him .

Went back and looked at my rejection email from previous years. It does take a bit in the email text to get to your rejection. The online application section is more clear.
