Bishop lost to A&M once. Bad comparison.

But he did have K-State at #1 in the nation.

I wish Radio would take the Wunderlich test so we could compare their results.

I personally think Radio is a little better runner, while Bishop had 10X the arm Uncle Rico has.

Vince is rather bright by any standards. I know that means nothing in the aggie world, but it's the truth.

If you have any evidence to suggest otherwise, I'd be happy to see it.

So, scoring an 810 on your exiting high school S.A.T. is 'rather bright by any standards'?!?

Where do you live,....lubbock?

Isn't 740 the minimum score allowable to be a qualifier as a freshman for athletics?

70 points is cutting it pretty thin.

Yes, and that season ended with an embarrassing loss in a non-BCS Bowl, and his team was remembered as extremely overrated.

Reggie McNeal = Michael Bishop v2.0?

Bishop was better overall because he had a very good arm.
Mister T-Shirt
How long do you want to ignore this user?
...and Reggie is heads and shoulders beter than Rico because he has a better arm as well...

How do you know he scored an 810?

Seriously, the best example of Vince's intelligence (besides the fact he makes good grades - I know plenty of great students who have trouble taking tests) is his natural ability as a leader. As has become very clear this spring, he has grown into one of the best leaders we have had on this team in many years.

If you want to argue that great leaders can be borderline retarded, then I don't want to waste my time arguing with you. Either way, what's between his ears has been winning games in desperate situations that most teams choke in.

Fran doesn't have to provide any basis for his fact. He can just claim something on multiple threads and pretend it's true.

If Vince scored 810 on the SAT he wouldn't be at Texas.

If you truely believe that, then you are VERY naive....

So he could read the 'D' on the zone read.

To hand off or not to hand off, that was the question.[/shakespeare]

Are you going to seriously tell me that zone reads and dumps to the backs and TE's took great 'leadership'?

When he gets drafted to the N.F.L. as a QB, come back and tell me how wrong I was.

No, but keeping his cool and conjuring up spectacular drives late in games does.

Missouri and 0U were laughing at Vince.

Kansas, Tech, OSU, and Michigan were crying.

That is called development.

On the other hand:

Iowa State, OSU, Kansas State, were crying at Reggie.

Baylor, Texas, and Tennessee were laughing.

That is called regression.

Speaking of regression, the last two T+1s, A&M has looked surprisingly good in the 1st half each year. I start thinking that your talent really isn't that far behind ours...definitely up there with the upper half of the Big 12.

Then the players and coaches come back out of the locker room, and you immediately look like Baylor.

Freaky coincidences, especially since the general consensus seems to be that Dennis is a better gameday coach than Mack.

Yes, in the sense that he will follow MB into NFL oblivion because he cannot read the playbook.

Both have exceptional athletic ability. Both cratered/will crater in the NFL because you cannot play QB in the NFL with athletic ability alone. They each have more in common with Dexter Manley than John Elway.

Bishop doesn't compare, neither does Reggie

*BUZZ!*

Sorry Rook.

Athletic ability head to head to head, here are the rankings of the three:

t1. - Reggie
t1. - Bishop
3. - Radio

If by the grace of God, Uncle Rico develops SOME KIND OF PASSING THREAT, then he might be on the same playing surface as the other two.

So,.......even with NO PASSING SKILLS whatsoever, Radio is better than Reggie or Michael Bishop?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Radio is just a African American version of Eric Crouch.

I hope Uncle Rico can speak a little French since he will never get any father than the CFL.

F F,

Within the last few weeks didn't weren't you told that you might have some medical condition that was going to terminate your life?

When people are faced with such it makes them take a new look at life. It makes one realize how our living can come to an end at any time, also makes people kinder and more accepting.

Mister T-Shirt
How long do you want to ignore this user?
So you are going to say that Radio is a better runner than Bishop or Reggie, and passing has no bearing whatsoever in the discussion?

Figures.

Try telling that to any NFL scout and they will laugh in your face.

It also can make you more ballsy and call 'em like you see 'em.

Which of the two has the tools to make it at the next level?

Spin away.

Newsflash, mensa....all of the three QB's discussed above are black.

Honesty does not equal racism. Assuming that criticism can only be based on racism, does.

Instead of parodying I've Been Working on the Railroad with really creative lyrics, I will just present some facts:

quote:
This is a school where one can still find statues dedicated to dead Confederate soldiers and to the President of the CSA - Jefferson Davis himself. Texas House Bill No. 953, proposed in 2001, would have removed these offensive relics of Texas' shameful history. Unfortunately, the bill has been left pending in committee since that time. If any statue deserves routine defacing at the University of Texas, it would not be unreasonable to suggest that it is the statue of a committed racist and white supremacist, a man who led a pro-slavery revolt that aimed at keeping nearly ten million children of Africa in a state of living death.

quote:
Also that Spring, an off-campus fraternity party was reported to have involved white students from the University dressing themselves in blackface and racially insensitive t-shirts. Their excuse was that the party was meant to have a rap and pop-culture theme, but what it truly revealed was the level of distance and alienation that white and black students experience at the largest university campus in the nation where less than 4% of the students are African Americans.

Now, if you have anything factual to say, not just the third grade mentality of making things up, just let me know.
