The bravest soul, we all agree,
Was Skihorn's wife, Mrs. Ski.
Her idjit hubby had invited
Half the state, none he'd slighted,
To come invade her hearth and home,
And about their grounds to roam.
None he knew 'cept by their posts,
Yet they offered to be hosts,.
Not only did she show and greet,
Fix the beans and serve the meats,
She also kept the kids at home,
And freed their dog, the group to roam.
She must have thought her hubby crazy,
Thought his brain and thinking hazy,
To have asked some unknown posters,
Flamers, fools, and sometime roasters,
To come into their country house.
She learned she had a crazy spouse.
So because she had the nerve
To stick around and talk and serve,
And because us she didn't shoot,
I send to her a huge salute.
