Threw under the bus? He tore his ACL last year, there was no guarantee how fast he would rehab. It has been going ahead of schedule. They had to have another option not knowing how his recovery would go and went after Sorsby.

He prob wont play till the 3rd game against UH, but he showed last year he can play and Tech will be just fine with him.....

Ha, i don't think anyone on Tech's staff or the team is worried about their ability to win with the roster they have this year......Hell overall they may be ever better than last year....Prob the best RB core in CFB or at least top 3.. Better OL which was a weakness last year, on par D to last year, better WR core, Best TE in CFB.

We will see, can't wait to get the season started.....

The defense will certainly take a step back, because last year's defense was epic by any measure. The question is whether the offense will step up. It looks to be greatly improved, and I would argue that the loss of Morton is a gain. He was a liability more often than not last year, and most certainly in the CFP against Oregon. I hate Tech's easy schedule this year, but given the Sorsby shenanigans I think it will work out fine.

Just to be crystal clear on this: I would rather Tech lose every game this season than have Sorsby take a single snap as Tech's QB. Come what may, I'm glad this chapter is closed.

You don't need to explain to me anything, I didn't go to tceh. I use my eyes and logic. You can scream to the world that you didn't want this, but deep down you were pulling for all of this to work out. You sold your soul to Cody and his money. The VAST majority of tceh fans were crapping in their pants that this would work out. The "video" with the tceh apostles. Now you just have to pray to Cody that all will be good.

Tech is a lot better off without Sorsby. What a distraction that would've been all season.


Hammond is a solid QB. I actually thought he was better than Morton. He has the "it" factor.

I wouldn't call your schedule easy though. The Big 12 will be A LOT better this year than last.
