Those folks really are delusional. Do they really consider Ok State too be "unworthy?" No, they most certainly aren't a huge draw, but what they've done there is far more than Baylor by a LONG SHOT.

This is what happens when you give a mediocre program a little success. They begin to act like a "big boy" program, even when their glory days are at an end.

The same is going to happen to TCU when Patterson retires and will now happen to KSU that "the wizard" has retired.

Grabbing Mizzou & Nebraska? They are completely delusional. There is one huge reason both left the BDF and as long that reason is still affiliated with the conference neither school would ever consider returning. Of course if ithe sips decided to leave there would not be a conference in which to return.

Honestly, it is not a bad idea....just modify the numbers a little and replace SEC with AAC and that is closer to a balanced conference.

Move Tulsa to the "West" so there are 11 Teams in each division, only play 2 OOC games and 10 divisional games (They can even keep the "One true champion" for each division and meet in playoffs.).


Have UCF meet OU in 75% of the BigAAC (pronounced as Big Aass) CCG.

Profit.


I'm not saying it's not ridiculous, but I think it is less absurd than B12 into SEC.

LSU under Alleva might just be BSC enough to consider it. Easily the most disgruntled fan base in the SEC.

I think Baylor should lead the effort to get rid of those that add nothing to the conference. They should....

Kick out - Texas, OU, Okie St, Tech, TCU and WV.
Put on Notice - K-State and I-State.

Actually, this is accurate from a market standpoint. Additionally, losing Missouri was even worse than losing Colorado.

Partly true

Losing the two big population states outside Texas was a huge blow

But at the same time So was losing your other main draw in Texas, particularly in the Houston area (a fact the delusional L10 still refuses to acknowledge)

If Beebe hadn't been such a wimp to Deloss' tyranny in 2011, Big XII picks up Cougar High (instead of tiny TCU), Louisville, Cincy and WVU, keeps their CCG and gets on down the road with a stronger and full league.

I actually like that conference. Works for WVU with travel partners and reducing travel in division. At the time, Louisville was running on all cylinders in football and basketball. Cincy has a unique ability to get good up and coming coaches in football. Ohio is a good recruiting state and would have encroached on Ohio State's lockdown among P5 schools.

Coogs would have replaced us so the number of schools based in Texas would have been unchanged. Plus even though the Coogs have dismal attendance records, that is more a function of who their opponent is. Throw in the Sooners, Sips, Okie Lite, and Tard fans for home games and attendance goes up. Plus the recruiting battles between Coogs, sips, us and LSU in the Houston metro area would have been quite heated. Not to mention, Coogs should have been able to keep a coach.
