Baylor trying to get Morris. Sure would hate to see him take that job.
I doubt he would stay for 8 years. The BDF doesn't implode until the GOR runs out.texag84 said:
Not to mention the conference. When BDF dissolves, and it might be sooner than expected, Baylor is left out of Power 4
Wait, so you mean Baylor is one step closer to having Kathy Ireland kick field goals for them?UMichAg said:
Beyond it being cesspool, the next coach is set up for massive failure. Their recruiting class from last year disbanded them. They essentially have no recruits for this coming signing day. The NCAA will likely eventually let any player transfer out without any penalties. Baylor is about to field a team of walk-ons from their Baylor line.
So yeah...when Baylor is involved, you don't usually get a choice about what you touch and don't touch.JM13 said:
Wouldn't touch the Baylor job

Just told by source the report abt #SMU's Chad Morris having accepted #Baylor job is NOT TRUE and that BU has not offered the job to anyone.

Chad Morris has agreed in principle to become Baylor's next head coach, per @PatDoneyNBC5.

SMU is a better job than baylor.
They need a coach with a squeaky clean image, a guy with core values...know anyone??Quote:
IF nothing else, there will be other jobs open up in the next year or two. I just don't understand being overly anxious to jump into that mess when you really don't know the full extent of the fallout.
