Response to OP: I agree completely. The only reason they want to play us is bc of recruiting. These're the people who said they wouldn't play us because it would help out our visibility in the state, they wouldn't give us the privilege of playing them, etc., etc.

I've been a part of thi state for 56 years - I'm not whining about playing the game. I, like many others, have outgrown the need for the verification of playing Texas. As said before, we have bigger fish to fry.

If we allowed you the privilege of getting your ass beat by the hated Texas Aggies, your broke ass athletic department would use it as a marketing ploy to boost ticket sales in your dump of a stadium that's never full. They'd make your stupid AF fans buy season tickets to get an A&M ticket, which they'd gladly do, even though they wouldn't have even considered it without us being on the schedule.
On the other hand, our stadium is sold out in season tickets, without you on the schedule.
