quote:
The origin of the tradition is anything you guys want it to be. You can say the origin of the tradition is when baby Jesus was born. You can say it was born at the Alamo. You can say it was born in 1858 when the University of Texas was established. It doesn't matter. Pick any date and spin the yarn from there to make it anything you want it to be. It's an **** tradition and ****s can make the tradition anything you want it to be. Just don't come up with a story that doesn't match the historical record and claim it is absolute truth. Don't say TAMU originated the term in 1922 when it was originated at least a quarter century earlier by someone totally unassociated with TAMU. Don't say the team was decimated by injuries during the the game when there were in fact (according to Jinx Tucker) a whopping three injuries. Don't say Gill was the only substitute left on the sideline when he was one of ten substitutes standing on the sideline. Don't say he was carried off the field as the hero and from that day forward known to all ****s as the school's "12th Man" when no one referred to him as the "12th Man" until McQuillen's play in 1939. It's unethical for an institution of higher learning to be teaching a version of history they know is essentially fiction, but who said ****s had to give a fu@k about ethics.
Have fun with your tradition. Make up whatever stories you want to in support of your tradition. It's sad that TAMU has mislead so many alumni and represented to alumni and the general public. It's even more sad that so many ****s continue to lie to themselves about the facts surrounding the 1922 game. Your idiot friends over on texags have themselves all worked up wanting to physically attack some guy and harass his wife and kids because I dared to speak the truth. It's insane that TAMU alumni believe they have to attack little kids and beat the crap out of some poor guy who has nothing to do with anything because the truth about the 1922 football game has been talked about on a UT website and was picked up by a professional journalist. THAT is your fu@king tradition. Not a "willingness to serve." It's an utter refusal to accept what you don't want to hear even when it's the truth and your cult like need to beat innocent people, including this guy's wife and little kids because you don't like what other people say on message boards that have nothing to do with your school. What other school has alumni so warped that people have to reach out to the freaking FBI to let them know idiots on texags are stalking some guy on the internet for the express purpose of harassing him, his wife and his little kids. Who in their right mind would even care, let alone stalk someone who isn't even associated with all this. All because TAMU has brainwashed its alumni to follow a story that isn't true. How has TAMU convinced these people that if anyone dares speak against the school's "traditions" that their obligation is to commit criminal acts to silence those who don't agree with your school's "teachings"? Again, THAT is your fu@king tradition. THAT is your sick fu@king tradition. THAT is the sick fu@king mentality that we were fighting against over in the Middle East - a bunch of jihaddis who were out to use force to silence anyone who dared question "the teachings."
So, make your tradition anything you want it to be. Live in a world of denial, fantasy and lies. Believe in the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, Allah and teachings that all infidels must be silenced and E. King Gill as the sole substitute, carried off the field as a hero and from that instant on hailed by every person on the planet and the little green men who live on Mars as the 12th Man. Beat the ever living fu@k out of anyone you want to every time someone on a message board dares question anything that comes out of your school's "traditions council." After you beat random people to show what your school stands for, go run up to their little kids and yell as loud as you can at them, but make sure you look in their eyes when you do so. Scream at the little kids and call them every disgusting name you can think of and make sure they know that is what TAMU stands for. Let everyone know how TAMU alumni act when people dare say things ****s don't want to hear on message boards that have nothing to do with the school.
No amount of research, or discussion, or evidence will ever make some of you guys believe what you have been told isn't true. If you have to ignore reality to maintain your self image, ignore reality and believe in your "traditions." Silence the infidels and be proud of the type of individuals TAMU has turned you and your fellow ags into.
Ho-lee sheit. Yeah, it's us who have the problem.
I think you can put this thing to bed. Randy has went full retarded.
