Its refreshing to see that Bonfire understands the sips almost as well as I do. Nice going.

Embarrassingly, after all the cover-ups and smear jobs this guy orchestrated, they still only managed 1 Championship and that was due solely to a freak of nature under Center.

There's a "old story" floating around that tu once turned themselves in for 250 NCAA violations and the NCAA refused to pursue investigation claiming "it's their word against ours".

Anyone remember the 80's when more than a dozen longhorns players were supposedly working as legislative aides for sips legislators? Know how many times they showed up for work? Your right like Zero. After being turned in miraculously they all had the exact amount of money to pay the state back and tu professor Wright chose to not investigate. Know what would have happened if that would have happened in Aggieland? They would have picked up old DeWare and thrown us under it with SMU which Professor Wright was more than happy to investigate to distract from what had been going on the North 40 for decades. Maybe is, because you were so full of crap to begin with. Or maybe, your panties are on to tight that t.u. football is now in the toilet and will be remaining there for the foreseeable future. Or maybe, our success both on the field and recruiting has really taken off, along with our Heisman trophy winner?

Two thoughts;

1) In the last 30 years Texas, like A&M has rec'd Major Infractions by the NCAA. In two of the three cases, they received no penalty whatsoever. None. And they rec'd the unheard of endemnification as Bonfire admitted.

2) Did you know that Cleveland Bryant still lives in Austin? Living the life high up on a hill with a pool overlooking the city. Taken care of for life.

3) Do you remember the assistant coach that took the fall for Tom Penders' academic infringments? I literally witnessed him at his "job" after taking the fall. He was "working" as a sales executive at Rox Covert Chevrolet in Bastrop. Rox is a big time supporter of texas athletics. It was 2 pm and said former assistant coach was in his office, door wide open to the showroom floor, snoring his ass off in a mid afternoon power nap on the couch. Rox even identified him as the coach who took the bullet, and did so laughingly.

What's so funny about this is sips routinely attribute A&M's dominance over them from 1985-2000 on us "cheating".

For most of that time, they were cheating like a mother****** and having Dr. Wright cover it up.

Actually this is somewhat old news. Those of us who have been around for a while knew about Prof. Wright ans his position with the NCAA. The arrogance was limitless. The rules applied to everyone else. One of the reasons I have hate tu for a long time.
