Anyone else seen what they've done yet? They're slowly reopening sections of it as they complete it and it is beautiful. Seriously guys, it makes campus look so much more awesome that it did with that crazy stair crap.

Looks better so far. I remember when that section of the sidewalk (when you're looking down from Rudder stairs) would get flooded so bad during the rain. You'd get like 5 inches of water standing there. Awful. Not to mention, it was tough riding your bike through that section with all the steps.

It looks really nice, but I have two complaints.

1) They misspelled "Legett" on every plaque-type thing they placed detailing the old buildings of military walk.

2) They removed all of the old power outlets. We can't have Hart Java on stoop side anymore because there are no power outlets to plug speakers in to.

I don't know if it's in the plans or not, but some statues or busts of our CMH winners might be appropriate along that route.

Not to be a dick, but there is no such award as "Congressional Medal of Honor".

It is simply "Medal of Honor", MoS, or as its known in the military, "the button".

It gets the nickname "Congressional Medal of Honor" because the award is given, "in the name of congress". However, the correct name is Medal of Honor.

It was just a comment. The additional busts would be a great addition. My favorite part of Baylor's campus is the "Ring of Honor" where we honor our MoS winners.

I really wasn't trying to be a dick.

They're going to have a rededication ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 11 before the Louisiana Tech game. The Corps will march from Sbisa and several other things will be going on that day, still in planning. Should be a nice ceremony.
