You'd be surprised how many contractors want to build this exact thing. I contacted 5 contractors saying I wanted a porch with a shed-style cover. Almost everyone came back with this gable style monstrosity.

That's an over sized lot for area - a double lot. Land value alone is worth around $1MM +/-
