I like modern design and (as someone who has watched it being built for the last few years) it is a POS. And whether there's standing water in the pics or not, that's a terrible design and there will be a lot of standing water on that roof.

Someone posted this picture of a basement, and I can't decide if I hate it or love it.
I think it completely depends on whether they play anything besides buffett or not.
I can't even begin to imagine how much sand gets tracked into to house from the basement.
It's pretty neat in someone else's house.

I was watching one of the extreme pool shows and they built a pool with a sand bottom. Looked really cool but I have no idea why you'd want to add that mess voluntarily

I bet I know why! - It's for the breeze. Many people put doors on both sides of garage partly for a breeze going through garage, although usually it's a given that you'd be able to drive something out of it also...

They could have at least picked up the dirty clothes off of the floor and made the bed on the master. Moving the laundry basket out of the for to the washroom would have taken 20 seconds. I'm confused by the unmade, blow-up-mattress bed in the "study".
That pool looks like it may be unsafe to swim in.

After looking at the nightstand, I wonder whether there's someone who is really sick in the house. It looks like someone's living out of a suitcase in the study.

It is also really unstable to have the Christmas Tree right in front of the TV.
That's an oxygen concentrator next to the master bed. Maybe mom had Covid and dad slept in the study on the air mattress and the house fell apart while mom was sick?

There also pallets on the floor in the master. Could be for kids who get scared at night, but I'm wondering if this a multi-generational or multi-family situation. Seems to be a lot of seating in the living area too.

I honestly don't hate it. I would change out the posts on the front, but the rest isn't horrible, and the back yard setup is fairly nice.
Agree. Those posts are cartoonish and some of the other choices are a little much for me. But overall, not bad at all.

Yeah, the super white with a little red and black isn't for me. But paint could fix most of that. I just wouldn't call the house completely hideous
The island and tub are terrible.
