Maybe it's a utility platform, like you see off the attics of some townhomes? A place to munt an a/c unit, or run a generator that's outdoor/open air but not a place you go to hang out?

I don't know why you'd mess with that on a house with a yard though. Seems unnecessarily difficult. Just a WAG. That's a stumper.

That seems to be the same flooring that is through the rest of the house. I first thought it was carpet, too. But I think it's just an illusion. I think it might be some sort of treated concrete or maybe stone. The listing doesn't have any info about flooring.

If you look very closely at some of the pictures you will see a rug/runner on top of the floor that is almost identical in color.

Looks like concrete. If you closely, theres a big crack in the concrete floor from the tub to the left vanity in the master bath. And another one running through the middle of the floor in front of the washer and dryer.

Yep, that's exactly what made me think concrete. But I know some stone can have lines/marking that look like that, too. I couldn't see any grout lines, though, so that makes me think concrete.

Shuffling your dingleberries over 3 feet of carpeted floor to the water fountain is just about the nastiest thing I can think of in my home. I'd rather use the boys' bathroom at the middle school.

First off. Eat more fiber. Second, buy some body clippers. Third, buy a squatty potty.

Just a thought experiment, if you were to get poop anywhere else on your body, lets say your arm, would you be okay with just wiping it off with a paper towel?

I use wipes. And if I got poop on my arm, I'd wash it off with soap and water in a sink, where I could actually look at my arm while washing it instead of blindfolding myself and sticking it in an upside down shower head just to impress my neighbors with the pit bulls and the above ground pool in the front yard.

Sorry, the internet does not have images from the 8 previous attempts to sell the place (10 years ago)

6,400 sf, 7 bed, 6 bathroom with 3 kitchens. 3 full kitchens. with one right next to the bathtub (photo #1) People amaze me.

It's enough of a time capsule that I kind of like it.

What I would've liked to have seen is what the place looked like before it was remodeled 45-50 years ago. The brick in the last picture looks like it's from another decade or so earlier and hints that there may be some good midcentury bones hiding behind that '70s redo.
