So they took a mexican restaurant, put up some walls to make 7 bedrooms, make the handicap stall in the bathroom the shower with a tiny awkwardly angled shower head, put keypad locks on each bedroom, and then call it an apartments?

Looks like a coyote house to me....

7 units in 3382 sq ft...month to month renters...I'm sure the people living in the "affluent" and "luxury" neighboring homes are thrilled about that!
I'm still really confused looking at the pictures. Is there one kitchen for everyone to share? Honestly I think this would do better as a gut out the middle and massive remodel to a single person home or to 2-3 much better rentals. 7 units equals 483 sq ft each.

And that appears to be a ridiculously high asking price for the area comps. Most houses are in the high $200's to low $400's ($200's are older ones not remodeled, $400k's are tear down and rebuilds). I'm sure value will increase as more tear downs occur, but it sure looks like a sheisty area - and $383 a sq ft is pretty damn expensive for a ****ty place.

The price is laughable. If it was a few miles over... in the Heights proper (or Woodland Heights), the land would be worth around $500k+/-. But although "close," this is miles (distance and $ wise) away from that. I'd guess lot value is half that or less. And it's real close to 610, which makes the location that much worse. If the lot was bigger, there might be some commercial value in being so close to 610...but not at 5000ft2.

3. Yeah, the last owner failed at his month-to-month renters bonanza, but YOU could do it!!!

The place looks like it was set up as a *****house - go through the main lobby choose a room, have fun. The kitchen is for the girls, not you.

...curious for the realtors out there. Does har.com provide traffic stats? As in can realtors see their listing receiving a ton of hits from a message board?

Those bars on the inside of the windows look like a deathtrap. A while back it seemed like all the time people in SA were getting trapped inside of burning houses thanks to burglar bars.

Yeah maybe so. I got "here" late enough that the original har listing one had been cleaned up but I guess I must have hit the Sotheby's link right after it was posted. The couple seemed attractive enough. I was expecting worse.

The pictures I think were the good ones show up as broken image links. When I try to open them in a new tab I get an access denied error.
